These simple, but beautiful striped pre-1860s style Rio Grande blankets, are handwoven with natural and hand dyed New Mexico Churro wool, in collaboration with Taos architect, Chris Ferguson, of the Tres Estrellas Gallery, in Taos, New Mexico, are reproductions for the most part of Albuquerque Museum collection pieces and private collections, that would not generally be on the market for purchase.

Rio Grande Blanket SABP 014
The last blanket off the loom, shown in the Galisteo Studio Tour in 2014. This style of blanket were woven in two lengths to fit within the confines of the loom width, and then sewn together and worn as a sarape or wearing blanket.
